After an amazing relocation in 2011 from Calgary to the beautiful Okanagan, she has never looked back. As a Top 40 Under 40 recipient, Marika has great community connections and philanthropic endeavors that she oversees. She is the Lead Coordinator for the Kelowna Shoebox Project and also runs Jewels of Hope; both organizations empower vulnerable women in the Okanagan community who are experiencing homelessness, poverty, addictions and economical hardships.
